During this raging pandemic, it was lovely to see this beautiful Super Moon. Posting it here for all my blogging friends and wishing everyone lots of good wishes.
During these difficult times, when the world is reeling under the pandemic, one tends to reflect on the good times….
It was in late January 2018, the world was yet to know the horrors it would encounter due to the Corona Virus.
I was on a trip to London and it was a chance visit to the Painshill Park, on a rainy afternoon, when I spied these beautiful flowers in a meadow.
The Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis) is a common spring flower in the meadows and parks of London. Seen here in its pristine beauty at the Painshill Park, Cobham, Surrey, London….
When they were abundant, most butterflies had names prefixed with the word Common, indicating that were commonly seen. Today, with the changes to the environment, we seldom see these beautiful insects. Yesterday was a good day with Chennai cooling a bit after rains, had butterflies in abundance. This was at the KAruna Nursery Garden on ECR.
Actually although the weather was a bit nuts, (it was quoted as the hottest summer day after many years) the weather in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu State in India does not have much variation. Hot and humid or hot, wet and humid are the main options 😁
The skies however are ever changing and awesome. Although I’ve not come across such a blog, a blog posting daily sky photos would be a hit…
So for my friends to enjoy…… Chennai Skies.
